Guide
Save any page with an AI bookmark extension
A useful bookmark extension should keep saving close to one click without hiding what AI adds. With LinkWise, save from Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, review the suggested summary and keywords, choose a folder, and keep the page in one searchable library.
What the AI extension adds to a normal bookmark
A native browser bookmark usually stores a title, URL, and folder. That is fast, but a vague title can be difficult to recognize later.
LinkWise can add a concise summary and suggested keywords during the save flow. You review the result before relying on it, so AI helps create retrieval cues without taking ownership away from you.
- The original page title and URL
- A concise AI-generated summary when you use AI enrichment
- Keywords you can confirm, remove, or supplement
- A folder you choose for stable context
Install on Chrome, Edge, or Firefox
Open the extension page and choose the store or installation route for your browser. Chrome users install from the Chrome Web Store, Edge users use the Microsoft Edge Add-ons listing or a supported Chromium route, and Firefox users use the Firefox add-on route shown there.
Store availability and review status can change, so the extension page is the source of truth for current Chrome, Edge, and Firefox options. For connection and troubleshooting, use the browser extension documentation.
- Choose Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on the extension page.
- Complete installation in the indicated browser store.
- Pin the extension if you want the save control visible.
- Sign in and connect it to your LinkWise library.
Save and review a page
Open a page worth keeping, click the LinkWise icon, and check the title and destination. If you use AI enrichment, read the summary and keep only keywords that would help your future self.
- Click the extension while viewing the page.
- Choose a folder or keep the current destination.
- Review the summary and confirm useful keywords.
- Save, then open the library if you want to verify the result.
Understand the Free and Pro boundary
Free includes unlimited bookmarks, keyword search, and 10 AI summaries and tags per month. When the AI allowance is used, saving does not stop: add your own notes and keywords.
Pro is for semantic search by meaning and higher-volume AI workflows. Keyword search remains Free. See plans documentation or pricing before upgrading.
Build a save habit that improves retrieval
One-click saving is only useful if links can be recovered. Spend a few seconds confirming a specific keyword such as a product, problem, or project instead of collecting generic tags.
For other save routes—including adding a URL from the dashboard—see Save a link. If you already have browser folders, import them first so old and new links share the same library.
