This policy explains how refunds work for paid LinkWise Pro subscriptions. Paid checkouts are processed by a Merchant of Record — currently Dodo Payments, and/or Creem, and/or Paddle.com, depending on which checkout path processed your order. Use that MoR's customer portal or receipt email to request a refund.
1. Refund period
You may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase (or renewal charge) for a change of mind, unless a longer period is required by applicable consumer law in your country.
The same 14-day window applies to the one-time yearly card (CNY, paid with WeChat Pay). Because it does not renew, canceling is never required — Pro simply ends on the expiry date shown in Settings. If a one-time card is refunded, the remaining Pro access is removed.
2. How to request a refund
Request refunds through the Merchant of Record that processed your order (not LinkWise directly):
- Open LinkWise Settings → Manage billing (customer portal), or
- Use the support / manage links on your receipt email for that order.
You can also cancel future renewals anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Canceling stops future charges; it does not automatically refund the current period unless you also request a refund as above.
3. What we generally approve
- Unused or barely used subscriptions within the 14-day window
- Duplicate charges or obvious billing errors
- Cases where mandatory consumer law requires a refund
4. What may be declined
- Requests after the refund window where no legal right applies
- Suspected fraud or abuse of the refund process
- "All sales final" does not apply — we do not use that qualifier
5. Processing time
Once approved, refunds are issued by the MoR to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer (often several business days).
