Use Article for a page whose main value is a written piece: essays, research, documentation, newsletters, and tutorials.
- Keeps clean full text and stable source blocks.
- Can add an AI summary, translation, citations, highlights, and notes.
- Exports the original text and knowledge sections to Markdown.
Video
YouTube links are detected as Video. LinkWise reads public creator or auto-generated captions; it does not download the media file.
- Keeps a timestamped transcript when public captions are available.
- Supports jump-back moments, summary, translation, citations, and Markdown export.
- Videos without public captions stay saved, but no AI transcription is created yet.
Website
Use Website for tools, homepages, directories, and resources where the link itself is the asset.
- Keeps title, description, image, keywords, and your notes.
- Does not extract full article text.
- Is intentionally omitted from Markdown knowledge-note exports; use HTML, CSV, or JSON for a complete bookmark backup.
