Ask with citations

Question one save or your whole library without losing the supporting passages.

~5 min read

Ask answers from content you saved—not from an unbounded web search. Every useful answer should remain traceable to the supporting passage or video moment.

Ask one item

Open an article or video, choose Ask, and ask a concrete question. Follow-up questions can use the recent conversation, but factual claims still need evidence from that save.

Ask the library

Use library Ask to retrieve a small group of relevant saves, synthesize across them, and show both the source item and exact passage. Keyword and semantic recall work together so a useful tagged item is not missed merely because wording differs.

Read uncertainty correctly

When saved evidence is missing, weak, or conflicting, LinkWise should say so or refuse the answer. Open a citation before relying on an important conclusion.

  • Single-item and library Ask are Pro capabilities.
  • Only content belonging to the signed-in user is retrieved.
  • Ask works best after article or transcript processing has completed.
